A note from CarbonExpo host, Dwayne Purvis

I am personally so excited that you’ve decided to join us.  Thank you. 

This conference is a passion project for me; I truly believe that the oil industry has a lot to offer to the world in the Energy Transition and that making that pivot is crucial to our financial survival. From lower emissions to counterstream (CCS) to geothermal. But I saw – and still see – two giant gaps. First, the discussion has been lead by major companies and fringe voices. It must go mainstream. Second, the discussion has been abstract, but people need to know exactly what to do and who to call.

CarbonExpo intends to become the space for practical training and actionable relationships.

As I see it today, to support this mission is to support your business. To support your business, the conference needs two things: quality and attendance. We believe we’ve brought the quality in the curated speaker content and virtual event platform. We encourage you to promote your participation in this inaugural conference. The higher the attendance, the more new connections, the more new business, and the more momentum we build. Your own clients and connections won’t bring you new business, but if everyone brings along their first-degree connections, we can all find the solutions we need. As speakers/exhibitors/sponsors, we can all help better each other.
